Careful Fragile and Specialty Wrapping

Fragile items are where careful packing earns its keep, so we slow down for them. Dishes get wrapped one at a time and set on edge inside cushioned dish packs, never laid flat, because a plate handles pressure far better standing up than lying down. Glasses and stemware are wrapped and cell-boxed so they cannot clink against each other on a bumpy stretch of road.

Artwork, mirrors, and framed pieces are padded, corner-guarded, and crated or boxed flat when the size calls for it. Electronics get a different treatment again: screens are wrapped and supported, cords are bundled and tagged, and components travel snug so nothing slides into a corner.
